Finally...Home Sweet Home

We are finally settled into our new house! Actually, we have been for a little over a month now. I am just slow at updating this thing. We closed on Friday, October 19, after a long waiting game. We were supposed to close that Thursday, but we had to wait for the clear to close and then for someone to send the package. Did I mention this all happened the day we were supposed to leave for The Great Smokey Mountains? A vacation we go on every year almost got ruined because someone, in another state, didn't do their job. In the end, it was all worth it.

Tytan has started on solids since my last post. So far we have tried butternut squash, avocado, prunes, carrots, green beans, peas, and bananas. He likes everything for the most part. My little guy is growing up way too fast!

He really likes prunes...I don't know why. Yuck!

Back for now...

It has been almost a year since my last post. A lot has happened since then. I now have a bouncing baby boy that brings me more joy in life than I thought possible. We just sold our home and we are currently living in limbo. We hope to close on our "forever home" in a couple weeks. The hubs and I started selling Advocare a couple months ago. All in all it has been an amazing year and I hope to get back to blogging.

Last time I left off on here, I was pregnant and we were in the midst of home construction. We added a bathroom onto our master bedroom and completely redid our nursery. In January, we found out we were expecting a baby boy. I was a little shocked. I thought for sure Mr. Tytan was a girl. Fast forward to June when I finally got to meet him via c-section (I was not happy about that) I was completely in love. He is now almost 4 months old. He is such a chunk. He weighs 18 pounds! He is exclusively breastfed and such a good baby! He only gets mad when he is hungry or sleepy. He sleeps through the night and has done so since he was about a week or two. I could go on and on, but I will save that for another post. This would be a book long if I didn't.

We are currently living with my parents. We sold our house and can't close our next house for a couple more weeks. We are going from a 2 1/2 (small) bedroom/2 bath 1300 sq ft house to a 4 bedroom/2 bath 2200 sq ft house. Our last house was smack dab in the middle of the city and this one is in the suburbs. Needless to say we are so excited!!!!

Hopefully I will be able to blog regularly. I will be unpacking for a couple weeks, but after that I should be good. Now I leave you with a picture of my precious baby 2 days old...
